Lisa Miller

Lisa holds a Master of Environmental Horticulture with a specialization in Restoration Ecology from the University of Washington. She is also a Certified Permaculture Practitioner from Oregon State University, a Certified RainWise contractor, and a Certified Gardenary Coach.

An active member of several organizations including the Society of Ecological Restoration, WA Native Plant Society, and Association of State Wetland Managers, Lisa is committed to continuous learning and collaboration within her field.

Established in 2018, Eco-Restore was born out of Lisa's desire to merge her expertise in restoration ecology with permaculture design. The mission of Eco-Restore is to nurture small parcels of land, recognizing their significance in the conservation landscape. Through thoughtful design and implementation, Eco-Restore crafts functional and sustainable landscapes, integrating native, edible, and medicinal plants to enrich habitats for the betterment of both people and the planet.

Meet Lisa Miller, the founder and lead designer of Eco-Restore. Lisa's passion for the natural world, its inhabitants, and the intricate processes that govern them has shaped her journey towards fostering sustainability and harmony with nature. Guided by the principles of permaculture, she endeavors to empower others to live in tune with the environment.


With a deep-rooted affection for plants, Lisa collaborates with others, sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge to cultivate a mutual love for greenery. Her academic pursuits have taken her from studying biological and natural resources in the Central Rocky Mountains to delving into ecological engineering in the Pacific Northwest, illuminating the interconnectedness of diverse ecosystems.
