Copper Garden Tools Handmade in Austria:

-- Highly developed past civilizations, such as Imperial China were know for their use of copper implements and consistently renounced the use of iron when working with soil. --

Austrian naturalist Viktor Schauberger first observed the detrimental effects of iron tools on soil health during the 1930’s. Iron particles rust in the soil breeding pathogenic bacteria and inhibiting the soils ability to retain moisture. By the 1950’s experimental work had proven that the use of copper implements in agriculture resulted in a distinct improvement in both quality and yield of field crops. Copper benefits soil by feeding beneficial microscopic life and adding conductivity to the soils own life building energies! It was for this reason that PKS began hand-crafting garden tools built of copper, free of lead and iron. Highly developed past civilizations, such as Imperial China were know for their use of copper implements and consistently renounced the use of iron when working with soil.

High quality raw materials and traditional craftsmanship ensure that PKS garden tools are made to last. The handle is made of supple lime-wood and the copper parts are cold worked by hand.

VIKTOR SCHAUBERGER (1885 - 1958):a far-sighted, unconventional ecologist and inventor

Viktor Schauberger was one of Europe's first naturalists to warn against the effects of extensive exploitation of water, forestry and agriculture. Together with his son Walter, in 1949 he founded Austria's first green movement, called the Grune Front and among other things vehemently opposed nuclear power, deforestation and containing and manipulating the coarse of rivers. For decades, Schauberger dedicated himself to various related subjects: water and its natural cycle, forestry and acid rain damage, agriculture and agricultural yields as well as the natural balance of energy in nature.

In spite of the astonishing practical applications of his theories Schauberger faced enormous opposition by critics. At that time he was alone in championing the cause for returning rivers and streams to their original, natural state, a trend which in the meantime has gathered momentum world-wide. His conviction that we should look to nature for answers and learn to live in harmony with it is as valid today as it was then, and the force of his ideas is as strong as ever. The Pythagoras-Kepler-School (PKS) has remained administrator of Schauberger's works and is engaged in putting his ideas into practice. His work is now reaching much wider circles by means if seminars, publications from his works, and more recently through the practical application of his copper concepts with the PKS garden tools.

Copper Ores

Copper occurs naturally in healthy soils. These tiny particles increase water retention and in so doing contribute to the conditions for vigorous and healthy vegetation growth. PKS gardening tools take advantage of this fact to carefully improve soils in the most natural way.

Trace Elements

Plants require numerous trace elements for our healthy growth and equilibrium. Even microscopic amounts of trace elements have an important function in a healthy organism, including human beings. PKS gardening tools are especially useful in making sure copper and even gold and magnesium are absorbed by the earth in your garden.
